3:104 Let there arise out of you a community [of people] who invite unto all that is good, and enjoin the doing of what
is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong: and it is they, they who shall attain felicity!

Our Mission
The purpose of the March is to promote a positive and accurate image of Islam. At present, Islam is viewed
as a religion of violence due to the "acts of terror" committed daily in the name of religion.
Thanks to the Muslim Community of Texas for making this March a great success. The March was held on
Sunday, September 9th in Austin, TX. Approximately 200 supporters showed up in support.
Peaceful sayings and inspirational quotes were boldly painted on signs. Muslims and non-Muslims stood united
before the world as the media captured the true essence of Islam: peaceful Muslims taking a united stand for peace.
There was great media coverage at the event. News 8 Austin already ran a 15 second bit on the March.
Go to the "News" tab on this website to see news articles written on the March.
The goal is to hold these types of marches in every state and eventually on a global level.
